I’m a graphic designer in Heraklion. Most of what I’ve made I run into when I walk through town — a shopfront, a coffee cup, a wine label on a shelf. That still gets me.
I can’t hand over something I’m not convinced by. I redrew the Γωνία90 logo three times; the owner would have taken the first one. It is the slow way to work and I don’t know another one.
Lately I shoot and cut video too, mostly from a drone. It is newer ground for me and I am still learning it, but it has already started turning up in the work.

Kind Words
We came in with a name and nothing else. Thanos asked more questions than we expected. The cups were the surprise — people started photographing them.
There was never a proper brief. We were sitting at my place one night and he said, what about a razor. The sign outside is the reason half my walk-ins happen.
He redid the logo three times because he was not happy with it. I would have taken the first one. He was right, of course — but do not tell him that.
